Colmar is a city in the Haut-Rhin department and Grand Est region of north-eastern France. The city is renowned for its well-preserved old town, its numerous architectural landmarks, and its museums. An area that is crossed by canals of the river Lauch is now called "little Venice" or "Venice of Alsace".
